Google X Reveals the new Internet Technology called ‘PROJECT LOON’

Google X Reveals the new Internet Technology
called 'PROJECT LOON'

By Madu Stephen

Recently, Google reveals the new Internet Technology called 'Project
Loon'. As we know, Google X, the secretive lab behind projects like
Google Glass and Google's self-driving cars and now Project loon.
<!--more-->
What is that thing? As we talked earlier, it involved
sending up a huge number of giant balloons to beam
down internet access to remote regions around the
globe.

Google implies that balloons play a good role for this purpose as
they're easy to use and can provide wireless services and coverage in
areas that would otherwise be difficult to serve due to geography.

Its chairman Eric Schmidt in particular, have long been talking about
the importance of getting those two-thirds of the earth's population
who don't
currently have Internet access online.

Project Loon is meant to help solve this problem. Now the question is,
do you really Think 'Project loon' can EXIST?
...............
No matters, what we are thinking because technology is beyond our
thinking. Google says that it has already built the system, however,
carrying balloon at 20km
(60,000 feet) on the layer stratosphere, providing internet speeds
"similar to today's 3G networks or faster.

How does 'Project loon' technology works? Of course Google is the
inventor of this technology, this
technology actually exists but the question is how
communication takes place?

According to Google the balloons communicate with
"specialized antennas," that only work with Project loon i.e
traditional cellular or Wi-Fi tech are no allowed to function.

One of it features is that each balloon starts as an
"envelope" that contains the polyethylene balloons and a 22-pound
"payload" that contains all the computers and electronics.

There's already a pilot program in New Zealand with 50
testers — Google launched 30 balloons just this week.
Google hopes to set up more experiments "over time." I know this idea
does sound crazy, even for Google as a matter of fact
much so many companies has doudt the Project Loon.

But all the same technology is moving to a higher level thanks to busy
brains and hardwork dedicated by this present generation.
